Maybe it’s because my son is heading into this senior year of high school, but when a friend mentioned this song to me today, it really hit home. As parents, we do the best we can to raise our kids to be independent, responsible, caring people. We hope we’re doing a good job, but in the end, they have to become their unique selves. And that’s the way it should be.
