“There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle,” said Albert Einstein.

I choose to believe that miracles are everywhere…. like the SKYPE calls that let me visit with both my brothers in Paris and in California at the same time from the comfort of my home in Atlanta.  Or getting a text at 1:00 am from my college student son who wants me to read his latest piece of writing. Even the synchronicity of a having a parking place open up in front of the restaurant door when we’re out with my 90-year-old father in law.

Miracles just require observation, if you’d like to join me in noticing. Or in the words of my favorite poet Mary Oliver…

“Instructions for living a life.

Pay attention.

Be astonished.

Tell about it.”
